Description

Tintex High Temperature Dye is recommended as a colourant for cotton, linen, viscose rayon and their blends. With the addition of white vinegar it is also suitable for wool, silk and nylon. It will colour wood as well as tassels, buttons and zips of the correct fabrication. This is a water-soluble dyestuff that requires heat to obtain cohesion to fabric, easily achieved in a one step boiling process or tub dyeing using hot tap or jug boiled water. All of our Tintex High Temperature Dye standard colours are interblendable with each other creating an infinite palate.

High Temperature Dye Use 20g of dye per 1kg of dry weight fabric. To increase colour strength use double the recommended amount of dye and / or increase the time in the dyebath.  This is especially important when dyeing dark colours.
