A: As with any paint, care should be taken when using to ensure it is only applied to surfaces it is intended for. We understand however that this will not always be the case. The following laundering instructions are provided to assist in those instances. Wet Paint: Flush with cold water immediately. Machine wash item in cold water. Dry in sunlight. Subsequent laundering should remove the stains but some residual pigment staining may occur, particularly with darker coloured paint. Dry Paint. Soak garment in cold water. A: Tintex Washable Poster Paints are fully blendable within their colour ranges. For example metallics bend with other metallics, fluorescents with other fluorescents and standards colours with other standard colours.

A: Yes. Tintex Washable Poster Paints have been used by professional artists who do not require an acrylic or oil based paint however this product was originally designed for use by younger artists who required a more stain resistant paint.

A: No. All fluorescent colours require light to give them the energy to fluoresce. Glow in the dark paints contain different pigments which allow them to glow when there is no light at all.

A: The preservatives and other materials used in Tintex Washable Poster Paints are at levels lower than that which would create toxicity. As with any paints caution should always be taken to ensure the product is used appropriately.
